What to expect from your first massage.
You will be asked to sign our basic intake form that highlights your medical history, past/present injuries and other physical conditions we should be made aware of. Our Therapists will also inquire about the reason(s) you are coming in for a massage and any specific areas in which you would like to address during your massage. Depending on your specific needs or requests, your massage therapist will either perform a customized full-body massage (for general relaxation and stress reduction) or focus on the specific areas that need the attention.
Our therapists use professional draping techniques which allow them to uncover only the area of the body they are working on, ensuring that your comfort and modesty is respected at all times.
If you plan on enjoying an alcoholic beverage please consider indulging after your massage.

Here is why:
- Alcohol tends to desensitize nerve endings and reduce the sensation of touch. If heat (hot water) and deep pressure is used, a persons body would be unable to adequately respond to injurious pain
- Combining massage therapy and alcohol only increases the toxic load on the body
- Massage releases toxins from the muscles into the bloodstream increasing the negative effects of alcohol. The overload of toxins in the bloodstream puts an additional strain on the liver beyond just drinking the dehydrating alcohol
